After doing a bit more reading i think i'll ditch using the temp sensors i have and go for the 'proper' GM 2 wire sensors they recommend.

Question is where can I get these (inc. the plug) from in the UK (prefer to buy new ones!)

I think you can get them from Phil at extraefi.

I got mine from the us with no issues

Mines are just the std ones from the efi astra/cavvy/calibra/carlton etc etc engines. And they work fine.
