Hi all
as im sure many of you will have seen my eirlier post about my engine toruble, with the help of some forum members i have been advised to get a power
comander to adjust the fuel levels to corect my engine running lean (2002 blackbird)
question is:
power commander 3 USB or
power commander 5
pros and conns....
from what i gather you can get a plug in unit for the 5 that will set its self up for about the cost of a lambda sensor and desplay that would be
required for the set up of the 3 USB
thanks tilly
Might be worth the extra cost as you will have to set your PC 3 up on a rolling road
is that really nessasery carnt you just do it with a wide band lambda and a dash read out..... im not really wanting to tune in to the max i just want it to be reliable and not melt my pistons which its going to if i keep it the way it is lol
I got a 3 for my car and then took it to a RR where they did me 2 maps; one for SVA (as it was then) and one for afterwards

by the sounds of things its the PC3 that is the one to go for.... to be honest iv been looking at the 5 and i dont think you can get it for the
blackbird....
is it posible to make adjustments on the move, IE have someone tuning on the laptop in the pasenger seat while you drive (on line programming if you
like)

Don't know if it will make a difference but the 5 is for engines newer than 2009 according to the dynojet website.
The advantage of the 5 is a lambda plugin unit that will tune the engine all by itself as you drive. You need to still map the range you want but the
lambda will adjust the fueling to keep it right.
