Hi all, what would be the best fuel pump to use , i will be using it on a 2.0 zetec blacktop with injection using a griffin plenum chamber, hopefully it will be about 160 bhp. cheers .
I would use one of these in-tank jobs with sender, swirl pot etc. all built into one as to me this high-flow to swirl pot, high pressure-low flow to
engine seems a bit ungainly!
They were mentioned in PPC a couple of months ago. Sure someone will know some details. If not, I'll find the mag!
Cheers,
James
I have installed a baffled tank with built in sump rather than having a seperate swirl pot with an external pump from ebay link the tank was expensive compared to a standard one but when you compare costs of two pumps and swirl pots I reckon its bit cheaper overall and better reliability not having two pumps
see ebay item 280383962970 for an external pump at a good price.
If I can find the part number I'll post it for the external one 'm using. Very common pump from 90s Audi's and Golfs. The first one I
used was 2nd hand and lasted over 5 years before failing. I bought a replacement for £38+VAT.
The first one was still working fine up to 270BHP on my car.
