Why can't they standardise the connectors on the crank sensors they use? Got a new sensor from a Fiesta that was being broken, and the keyway is offset to one side rather than being central. Nothing I can't sort out with a hacksaw, but irritating.

Bizzare isnt it.
- They also use two ring gear pitches on the cvh depending on if its fwd or rwd.

Wiper motors. Now theres something that was very standardised....

What you need is a TVR... every model that came out of the factory had different parts on it.... just you try and work out where things like door handles etc came from!!

I think it's safe to say they didn't do it just to annoy you!

Keyed connectors prevent incorrect components being connected to the loom.
