Jenvey Throttle boddies DTH or manifold?
FFTS - 13/10/10 at 09:56 PM

I am told that a direct to head or DTH throttle body gives more power. Is the correct and waht are the pro's and cons of having a manifold and TB's compared to just DTH TB's?

DTH - less to leak/go wrong and they are more compact.

They will make more peak power due to shorter intake length, but torque will be more 'peaky'

Go and read what Jenvey have to say, particularly with regard to inlet tract length.
Direct to head TB's might require very long trumpets.

Besides the power/torque issue, DTH will only fit the one engine, should you decide to change etc. The weber pattern stuff means supply is easier and can be used on just about any engine out there.
Apols if this is irrelevent, but can be a financial incentive

I don't think it's irrelevant at all, plans change all the tme, I know mine do. The more future choices you give yourself the better.
