I have just replaced my JAW controller with an Innovate LC1 + gauge.
The gauge appears to display the AFR correctly but Megasquirt does not.
I have measured the voltage on the output from the LC1 to the MS and the voltage appears to be correct.
IE It changes with the AFR.
I have changed the calibration for the WB in MS to give 0V = 7.35AFR and 5V = 22.39AFR
I have also tried setting to LC1 defaults.
Megatune/MS tuner always displays the lowest AFR that corresponds to an input of 0 volts.
I am using the same wire to the MS that I was using with the JAW controller.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
Clive
This is a complete guess but assuming it is a 2 wire device, is it polarity sensitive?
tilly
Nothing obvious that I can think of.
I have LC-1 and MS and mine works.
LC-1 has two analogue outputs are you sure you are on the right one. I guess its not this.
Matt
i had exact same problem trying to remember now how i fixed it, i had two problems
i think it was down to not having the LC-1 configured correctly on the outputs but also
i do remember having to make the change to map config telling it i had a LC-1 connected then save it to the ecu. then close and reopen and it then
saw the LC-1 was connected and displayed correctly
Cheers for the replies .
I will have another look and see if I have done something stupid. (Wouldn't be the first time )
Is wideband set correctly in the configurator?

Thanks for that Mark.
I have manage to waste most of today looking at this problem with ZERO success.
I have scoured the web for similar issues and have tried most of the suggestions that I found.
I have even opened up the MS and checked for continuity from Pin 23 to the CPU.
One of the problems that I found a lot of references to was that early LC1's needed a 470 ohm resistor in the connection to MS.
Unfortunately I could not find one but tried a 430 ohm that I had but it made no difference. Need to hunt deeper in my components heap.
I have swapped the outputs gauge/ECU but still the same. Gauge works, MS wont.
EGO setting is set to Single Wideband
Configurator settings.ini set to Innovate LC1 0.0-5.0v
Set to display AFR
Under Tools/Calibrate AFR table set to Innovate LC1 0.0-5.0v
I am now starting to lose the will to live and may just reinstall my JAW unit.
HELP
Finally got to the bottom of this .
After making sure that sensors/ecu etc. had separate earths to the block still would not work.
Checked continuity of the wire from LC1 to ECU for the billionth time. Checked out OK
Checked for voltage on this wire again for the billionth time. Checked out OK
Checked again with the ECU attached. 0 Volts
Finally worked out that a crimp connector was going open circuit when under load
Chalk it up as a good find. You found the problem and it's a cheap and easy fix; when things go wrong you really can't get a better result than that.
