I've done the same and now regret it as the TPS is more than I paid for the ITB's I have GSXR 750 ones so there may be a difference but they are 125 pounds for mine.

Isnt a TPS just a potentiometer. About £1.50 from maplins ,RS ect. Just get someone with a multimeter to measure a good one for the value.

Maplin's cheap-and-nasty potentiometers are unreliable in ordinary domestic use! They certainly would cope with the heat, vibration and oily fumes in an engine compartment.

A proper one would be much better - Trigger Wheels have one, but the price is a bit scary.

If some more people are interested, buying directly here could be an option:

Most efi have a TPS. It shouldn't be too hard to find something that could be modified to fit buy most people capable of building a kit car I would have thought! I'd be off to the scrap yard to have a look around if it was me. I'll have a look in my scrap ally bin for you, I took a TB off a merc 230 compressor a while back.
