MSLogger available on Android Market
scudderfish - 5/11/11 at 12:55 PM

It's finally available, after good feedback from my beta testers. The app is split into two versions, the first free "MSLogger Connection Checker" https://market.android.com/details?id=uk.org.smithfamily.mslogger.vanilla makes sure that all the plumbing works between your Android device and your Megasquirt ECU. If it works, you can then buy for the princely sum of £3 (of which I see £2, so think of it as buying me a pint) the full MSLogger. Supported firmwares are listed at http://www.mslogger.co.uk/firmwares.html

Dave

Yes. Some information here. https://bitbucket.org/scudderfish/mslogger/wiki/Adapters

Basically will cost you about £30 and an hour or so messing around.

I have a Orange San Fransisco (which was at the budget end of the market when I bought it a year ago), so I would suspect that anything newish should be fine. Just note that you need a fairly recent version of Android, so if your phone is locked with an old version then this could be a problem. Installing a new version of Android on my phone was trivial (and improved it in a lot of other ways too) but its worth checking.

The final product is really nicely implemented.

On the up side of buying an adapter, if your laptop has Bluetooth then you can also use the full TunerStudio with it as well.
