I'm setting up the constants on my megasquirt and
need to know the injector flow rate.
Can anyone tell me the rate for standard 2.0 zetec white injectors please?????
Cheers,
Andy
If they're 0280155820's then my info has them as 215cc/min (@3bar) 14.5 Ohm High Impedance.
Thanks pjay
Andy.
My information says that those are 200cc/m @ 3bar and 4.5ohms impedance pjay.
Andy, what is the little number cast into the injectors?
My info says 220cc/m but I cant find the source to back it up.(2.0) I do know that all the zetec inj' Ive come across are high Z from the side fed silver tops to the bosch style black tops.

The no on the side is as per pjay's reply 0280155820.
If this is the case,i take it they are high impedence injectors?
My ms is set to low,so maybe this isnt helping me to
make it idle properly.
Andy.
Cheers Dale,i will set it tomorrow.

Hi - got the info as follows (which has proved accurate in the past). Definitely High Impedance 14.5 ohms not 4.5!:
would agree though that other sources have it at 200cc/min (@3bar):
http://www.injectorcleaning.co.uk/flow.htm
As BaileyPerformance says not too critical - as long as you're not right on the limit of duty cycle.

Assuming it's accurate! I guess best thing to say is tread carefully with this sort of info and rely on people's actual experience.
I'm beginning to think it would be useful to have a way of roughly verifying flow rate - 200 vs. 215 is big difference when run for 5 minutes
(let's say) - would just need something other than petrol to test with!
Need something with similar density, viscosity etc.

Very nice bit of kit to have access to! Do you accept injectors by post?
Was also thinking of MS to drive - IIRC it has an injector test facility.
