Hi Folks,
Need some advice,just bought a part done MK indy,with a black top zetec,gsxr tbs and a megasquirt ms1 V3 extra( dont know what that means!)prevous owner has told me it has a basic map on . here goes i would like to get the car through the iva so,,,
1,does this set up mean i will be unlikely to get throught the emmisions?
2,how do i fit trumpets to the tbs and what air filter is best?
3 i guess it will need to be rolling roaded at some stage can anyone recommened one near stafford?
any advice will be appreciated

Hi and welcome to the forum,
you have come to the right place for all of the advice
you will ever need.
You will get your engine through iva no problem as long as you have a
cat fitted.
Fit the oe trumpets for your tb's,they should fit
straight over the ends and use a sausage filter,something like an itg.

You have a MS1 processor in your megasquirt with the Version 3 PCB, extra means that you have an upgraded software OS loaded onto the chip called extracode.

The MS you have can easily be upgraded to the latest MS2 processor very easily see this web site link it is the manual for the MSextra set up.
