I'm after some injectors for my Duratec install and came across the following

Racing Volvo Fuel Green Injectors injector T5 T5R Turbo S60 C30 S40 V50 | eBay

Anyone used these and will they be any good for my Duratec or too big??
I was going to use the standard ones but after speaking to Omex I don't think they'll be suitable.

440s are good to about 260-290ish hp depending on the engine etc. If you have an aftermarket ECU to adjust for them they should be ok but you may lose a bit of resolution low down making idle fueling less emissions-test friendly but the extent of that is probably fairly minor.

How much bhp are you specting? Why they think stock injectors are not suitable?

I'm hoping for around 200hp and it was just what Omex advised me!!

Those are a bit bigger than ideal, but the only downside might be slightly lumpy idle (as when small amounts of fuel are needed they will need opening and closing really quickly, which can result in slightly random fueling).

Those are the injectors we use for mild turbo or race 2.0L zetec with throttle bodies. They will turn down to around 1.5mS at low RPM for good idle.

BUT - we have have 2 customers recently who have installed these injectors, we have had problems and replaced them with another set (same part number) from Jenvey's, problems gone.

Some of the injectors on ebay are copies, so best to buy injectors from known suppliers.....same goes fro fuel pumps. we always buy genuine Bosch parts.
