aftermarket fuel pressure reg's?

hi im looking for fuel pressure reg (around the 3bar) and idealy ajustable
there seems to be all sorts of good bad and ugly stuff out there
i just want to know what works ok is not too expensive and is safe
and your experinces
idealy i want hose tail fittings and want 1:1 ratio with a vac point

I would avoid the cheap ebay ones, the one I had wouldn't hold a pressure half way through being mapped, ended up with i think a fse one, do you need a adjustable one? as wonder if a 3 bar fixed OE might be less hassle

I think the last time this thread came up, the Webcon one was suggested as a decent fpr, have a search to confirm.

i cant find one with tails over 2.7 bar i dont mind findint somthing that can take some form of std hyd fitting

i have seen a few webcon ones the fixed type are basicly a oem reg in a holder thay have designed and made and the ajustable one is the same with a ajustable reg in


not what i would call cheap or good value but probably work fine

As far as I could tell they use the Bosch cartridge as used by fords etc mounted in the fuel rail.I got a ford reg capsule and turned up a housing for it and have had no problems, there are a number of different ratings available as they are used on many different cars.

I bought a ~90 "quality" aftermarket one from a reputable online source (I actually genuinely can't remember who, it was about 2 years ago) and had it hooked up to a ~200 pressure sensor and a datalogger for a while. It was horrendously poor at generating repeatable pressure from one run to the next, like +- 1.5 psi poor.

God knows what the cheap ones are like but I suspect they'd struggle to be much worse
