coolant and IAT sensor positions

Hi

Just bought my Microsquirt ecu so am past the point of no return ....just wondering where the optimal places are for sensors . for instance there are a couple of unused ports in the head that may be ideal for my coolant sensor or is it better plumbed in away from the engine ? Also Iat sensor ; where is the best place to stick it when using bike ITBs again I have a port into one of the branches of my fabricated (modified from a Stada Abarth carb) manifold , would that be ideal or is it better to sense before the throttles perhaps in the air filter backplate . all suggestions greatly appreciated

The coolant sensor needs to be in the coolant, usually placed near the thermostat.

The IAT needs to measure inlet air before it goes in the throttle bodies. Mines positioned in the filter back plate between 2 and 3

IAT has to be before but close to the injector.

CTS should be in the head on the hot side of the thermostat or in the coolant by-pass hose.
