I have now got all my parts together and the loom is all soldered up.
The GSXR throtlebodyies are ready to go, and picking up the T9 gearbox on sunday.
I now need to get down to mapping the car. I have a map sensor, but might be going pure Alpha-N depending on how much vacume I can get from the
ITB's. Any inout welcome.
If anyone have a map they are willing to share, I would realy appreciate it. I will not use EDIS, but fire the standard coil directly from the
Microsquirt.
My specs are:
-2l Duratec
-Microsquirt V3
-No Edis, wasted spark
-GSXR750 throtlebodies
-Standard duratec sensors and injectors
-Flak monkey alu sump

Don't forget to bend the cut outs down and tack weld the windage tray into the sump before you fit it
I wouldn't worry about trying to use SD for tuning, its very unlikely you'll get enough resolution, just run Alpha-N from the start.
Can't help with the base map.
Download tuner studio software, the basemaps provided in the software will get the engine running no problem, you will need to add a few columns to
the maps at low revs using ITB's but you can do that later once its running.
Dont need a MAP sensor use alpha-N with the TPS
You will probabily need a new fuel rail with a return connection the the tank, the one in your picture doesn't have a return connection. The
connection in the middle is a vacuum connection for the 'shock absober' the thing that looks like a regulator - it smooths out the pulses
from the injectors and pump.
Another thing you need to consider, how are you going to blank off the EGR, most inlet maifolds have a blanking piece built in to cover the port on
the inlet side.
Exhaust manifold does it on the outlet side and an EGR blanking plate on the back of the head.
Your inlet doesn't appear to have the blanking plate built in.

Super info. Thanks guys
I hadn't thought about bending and welding. Will do.
About the fuel rail; I actually thought it was the fuel return ps: Thaught it looked a bit strange though...
About the EGR: I thought that it was not necessary to blank that part off. I will do
Thanks for the tips on AlphaN. I will wire in the MAP sensor since it is already there, but start off with AlphaN. Still would like to have a map from
some one.....
If you blank the EGR on the back of the head, there is no need to worry about the inlet side at all, it's just a blind hole
