PTFE or other?
Talon Motorsport - 8/7/13 at 12:20 PM

Is PTFE tape petrol prof or can some one suggest some thing else that will do the same job? It's not going to be under pressure I just need a quick fix until I can do the job properly.

Fuel unions shoudnt need any jointing compound. What is the issue?

PTFE does seem to disintegrate best to use threadlock

The short answer is there is not a single 'fuel' union in the part that has a petrol leak.

Thanks very much I'll go and see if I can find some....
