Techedge 2J2 and MS
ChrisLeary - 12/12/13 at 09:21 AM

Morning all,

I'm thinking of buying a Techedge 2j2 Wideband Lambda to use with my MS 1 V3 for mapping.

Does anyone have any clues on wiring into the Techedge unit from MS? I can't seem to find much information about connecting the two together.

Best regards,

Chris

All the info is here http://www.wbo2.com/2j/default.htm I've got the 2J9 wired into my MS1. Fundamentally it's a single lead from the MS to WBlin on the 2J. Just follow carefully the instructions about which earth goes to where.

Regards,
Dave

Brilliant, cheers Dave.

Are they reasonably easy to set up? I'm new to all this engine management stuff!

Thanks again,

Chris

I had a 2J1 (previous version) hooked up with my MS...did a great job, and worked perfectly.

Just let it auto calibrate before you put the sensor in the exhaust and it is fairly fit and forget. After all, it's job is just to provide one sensor reading to the ECU. It's the ECU that does all the hard work based on all the sensors plugged into it, and that definitely isn't fit and forget.

link wblin- to the ecu ground for the sensors and wblin+ to the lambda sensor input pin

you need to bond the neg so you dont have any voltage diffrence as you are working with a 0-5v signel and you want to be acurate as possible

you need to set your ms to the right make with software so you read the rigt afr's

my ms2 with a 2j1 is like this and is spot on
