hi having a spot of bother with flooding with my 2l zetec on twin 45s when cold is it 2 pump on throttle how far down? then part down and crank? or may need new plugs are these ok non platinum NGKTR5A-10?
I have a pinto 2L on dello 40's and I do 1 pump, crank and tickle the throttle when it fires. When all have kicked in it's fine, 1st time start all day. I changed from bosch to champion last week and it pulls much better. Summer time it starts very easy.

On mine I pumped the accelerator pedal twice and then slowly pressed the pedal down for the third time whilst starting the car, Worked everytime..
Do you have a fuel pressure regulator fitted ?
Have you checked the floats in the carb's for damage and correct set height ?
