ST170 injector size
Monkeybasher - 6/2/06 at 06:44 PM

Does anybody know what the Focus ST170 injectors flow. I have searched without any joy. In the end I entered them at 42lbs on the megasquirt.

This was enough to get the car running. I was well chuffed, all was going well then the car died. I treid a couple attempts at starting without any joy and a bit of head scratching I began to worry a bit until I realised I had run out of fuel.

0280156095 are 237.0 g/min @ 3bar and are 14.5 Ohm Impedance

No idea how g/minute relates to cc or lb (although you can calculate the lb) but....

The 42lb/440cc are 326.8 g/min so you are much less than 42lb/440cc.

Mathmatically, yours are 319cc @ 3bar based on (440/326.8)*237

Edit: If you want that in lb's, you are 30.46lb

Superb

Much appreciated, where did you get your info, I must have spent hours trying to find out. Many thanks.

Now out of interest I will try and work out how you converted

1 pound = 453.59237 grams
500cc per minute is approximately equal to 49lbs according to http://www.wolfems.com.au/support/injectorflow

237.0 g/min = 0.522495561 lbs * 60 (minutes) = 31.34973366 lbs per hour

31.34973366lbs per hour *(500cc/49lbs) = 319.895241 cc

cool I got the same answer

Thanks guys

Cheers

Steve
