so ok i'm nearly at the engine starting time, whats the chance of my mega squirt working 1st time around.

if not, what next after checking for spark and injectors squirting?

My megajolt worked first time but the car wont start..

My aim for getting it started this weekend has gone out the window.

so if it dosnt start what next ?

So What did you end up with then Graeme Msns or Ms+ edis. ect ect.

How did you work the Vr sensor. Hall efect in the dizzy or a crank mounted toothed wheell.

Megajolt worked 1st time -sort of. I tried without the MJ plugged in and just the EDIS module and it didn't start - turned out I have the wires to the different halves on the coil pack the wrong way round. I think quite a few people have had the same problem - swapping the plug leads over fixed it until i sorted the wiring properly.

Megajolt worked first time along with my first engine starting last night. Just turned the key and it all went!

just getting a but twichy with things i dont fully understand

Mine started after a few attempts and ticked over ok after a few adjustments, I then realised I had misconnected the injector wires and was only running on 2 injectors. Corrected the wiring and got it running fairly well after about 30 miles of datalogging and adjustments.
