running a 1.8 zetec want to know if we will have any running problems by keeping the original injection,loom and ecu as we have been told possible idle problems and flatspots due to missing sensors.

it has been done before - do a search and you'll find the diagrams.

If on a budget then it's the way to go and look at upgrades later.
