been going through my megasquirt wiring today,my box seems to be missing the "saw" wire from the multiplug,its V2.2 board and reading up it seems it will run with the "pip" signal but give no advance.
have i bought the wrong box?

Unless it has been modded then you will need to modify it to give the saw output .The normal method seems to be to use one of the led outputs, you need to find the megasquirt n spark extra pages for full details.
