How good is this?????

All of the help on here has helped me sort out the laptop. In short i believe the issue was the Nokia or Sony phone software.

Posted a plea for help on MJLJ site. Got an email back from Brent within 30 mins. He told me what to download. Did exactly that and with a little 9V battery connected managed to download the map from the MJLJ box.

It was interesting that after i download the V3 config program a second light appeared on the USB adaptor.


Also found out why engine ran rough - the base map in the box starts with 28deg advance at 500 rpm and slowly climbs to 34deg at 3,500rpm. Explains why it ran better with a few revs on but wouldnt tickover.

Cant wait to get it connected on the car tonight now.
