I am setting up a wasted spark MSnS and have just installed the two VB921 chips. I have a query over the resistor value for R29 though as the 330 Ohm
resistor supplied with my additional VB921 is marked differently to the resistor I have already fitted into R29 as per step 57 in the build manual.
The resistor in R29 has gold : red : black : brown markings whereas the 330 Ohm resistor supplied in the VB921 kit has Gold : brown : orange : orange.
My question is: do I need to remove this resistor and purchase another 330 Ohm resistor to replace it?
Resistor values are read the other way round, the gold is the tolerance value and it's at the end, so brown black red is 1k.
Here is a good chart to allow identification, a lot of people use mnemonics to remember the
colours but the only one I know is far too offensive to post

Just had a peek at the V3 schematics and R29 is part of the accel LED circuit, shouldn't be affected by a second VB921 going in?
You're an abrasive twunt aren't you? You could have just said 'when adding a second VB921 it's driven from old accel LED output' and i've have gone 'ahh, i see, cheers for that', but no, you have to have a pop and insinuate i'm a thick twat in the process. No wonder you're popular.

Bye Bye Rosie Off You Go, Birmingham Via Great Western.
I am sure there are others out there.
This colour order is also used for multicore cables (with the addition of Pink and Slate [Grey]).
