Rover V8 Fuel Pressure

Anyone know what the fuel pressure should be on a Rover V8 EFI. All stock items for a 3.9.

Would this be running or stop.

Cheers

For some reason i seem to think it's quite low, ie around 36 Psi rings a bell.

That pressure should be what you see on a fuel pressure gauge clamped into the Cold start valve hose, with the pump running. When the pump stops, it should drop by about 8 or so PSI, and STAY THERE. If its keeps dropping over a period of a few seconds, you have leaky injectors.

On the 4CU flapper EFI system, you have to open the AFM manually with the ignition on to make the fuel pump run. I dont know how you tickle a hotwire car...
