Pipe diameter - 8mm should suit either carbs or injection.....

...but pressure will be 1 or 2 psi for carbs or 45'ish psi with injection.

Really need to know which you've got

Agree that 8mm pipe will be fine for all instalations. Think that the pressure for carbs is a bit higher than 1 or 2 psi, my old 1600 Xflow used to run with a pump producing 4.25 psi. My present engine, (V6), injection pump runs 5 bar stalled, and thats a bit more than 70 psi, although the pressure regulator cuts that to around 3 bar, (42 psi). HTH Ray

Ive been told that 6mm ID will be o.k. for 200+ Bhp (injection @ about 3 bar)... In fact I bought some nylon hose from lolocost and the size is 6mm ID. I do hope they are right. I should sit down and calculate the flow rate I suppose......and check but that probably will make my brain hurt!

Anyone got a concern with 6mm ID?
