Just got round to buidling my wiring harness and found that I do not have a connector to connect into the coil pack on my ST170 engine. I have all the other connections but not this one.. Anyone got a spare plus know which pin is which?

Can't help you with a spare plug, but if its the same as the Fiesta etc Ford coil packs.

As in the photo:
The left pin is sparks 2+3
Centre pin is an ignition live
Right pin is sparks 1+4

The left pin is spark output A, sparks 1+4

The right pin is spark output B, sparks 2+3

O dear......too late connected it up to my £4000 race tuned engine and blew the lot.......caught fire and burn out my Porche in the adajacent garage also!..... must be some liability surely!

You should never work in the garage without a suitable Fire extinguisher to hand

... would have saved the Porche atleast

I have a square connector on my wiring loop instead of an oval one. I got the same coil pack as you can see above. Does anyone know where I van find such a connector?

Later black top zetec engines use this type so look for a '99 on mondeo focus etc to be sure
