MSnSE for Vx XE - settings required
Steve Lovelock - 12/12/07 at 08:51 PM

Hello,

Having spent the past 4 or 5 months procrastinating I am definitely going to have a go at configuring my MSnSE and plumbing it into the XE engine installed in my car. But, I would appreciate a copy of a similar set up if possible. You see I really don’t understand the manual and therefore would appreciate a suitable reference point to start with.

If you have such a set up would you be kind enough to send it to me please:

Cheers
Steve

Problem is - all installs will be different! -

Lets start with the fuel system - do you have a fuel injection tank (i.e. inbuilt swirl pot)?...if not then you will need a swirl pot set up, and high pressure fuel pump / lines..........

Can I suggest you take each part of the project and break it down into tasks - Asking how to fit MS is a waste of time....just make a start and see where it takes you........

I'm doing the conversion from carbs to GSXR TB's at the mo....

I've started with the high pressure fuel system, so I can fit it while still driving the car - once finished, it's time to build up the TB's, then on to the wiring......

But with all these sort of installs - it does take time and allot of reading - Dave Walkers book on engine management is a good start point....

Hmmm, what dont you understand in the manual? I would love to know as I will alter it to make it more understandable. Have a look here for more info on Alpha_n, http://www.extraefi.co.uk/MAP_Alpha_N.htm
