LC1 - setting up and have silly billy questions
Steve Lovelock - 7/2/08 at 10:07 PM

I am wiring an LC1 to use with MSnSE and have three things which I am not clear about.

On the DIYAutoTune web site it says: First you’ll want to configure your analog output for 10-20:1 AFR from 0-5v using the Innovate 'LM Programmer' software

Well, I can find the 0-5V scale but can't find the 10-20.1 scale. I am currently using the standard LC1 settings, will they be set on this by default or if not where do I need to look?

Next, it suggests that in the MegaTune Configurator you need to select Innovate 10-20:1 0-5v
Well, this is different to the LC1 setting in the configurator, should I ignore the LC1 setting?

Finally, I take it that I need to wire the Analog out 2 wire to the MSnSE rather than the no 1 wire? No 2 wire shows a steady increase in voltage across the range according to the LC1 manual.

Thanks

this is why I have carbs

IIRC the LC1 output is not matched to the scale MSNSe is expecting, i re-ranged the LC1 to 10-20.

As for the outputs, I think they are both programmable, so you can use either, just set it in the software, you want 0-5v. IIRC output 2 is set for 0-5v out of the box.

Sorry I can't remember that well as it was 6 months ago I set mine up.

You need to change the AFR numbers to 10 and 20 on the Analog Output 2 Tab.

That is what the MS software is expecting to see from 0v and 5v

Thanks Greg,

That is exactly what my system is showing although I had the Lamba option ticked so I'll change that to AFR.

I am running an XE as you are so I'd be grateful for any hints or tips on the settings if possible?

Regards
Steve

What inlet are you using? TB's?

I am using GSXR throttle bodies on a manifold that I modified from the original Vx item.
