Fuel pipe clips

Hi, quick question I hope (as I'm in the garage trying to fit my fuel pipes).

Is there an SVA law stating a min / max distance for spacing of fuel pipe clips?

Thank you in advance

MNR recommend max 6 inches between them for SVA if this helps.

Cheers

6 inches seems a bit excessive IMHO, does anyone have the SVA measurement?

Considering your avatar, 6 inches might be enough!

From memory; SVA manual dosen't state a distance for fuel pipe fixing (think it says something vague like "properly secured", but says 30cm for wiring so I went with that.

Following the MNR guide ive done it every 6 inches as it they recommend it for SVA. If its not needed ive wasted a lot of time getting some clips in very hard to reach places.

Pity that some tintop manufacturers don't stick to 300mm between clips, check out the spacing on a Focus

ye agree with you there rustynuts, most cars i have seen done have the 300mm spacing. strange
