Hello,

I have a ecotec coilpack for my XE and I would like to know if anybody knows how to wire them? I have three wires going to the coilpack, brown, brown/blue and brown/green. Is it safe to assume that the brown wire goes to 12V and the other two go to the coil driver circuits?

OK looking at the 2litre wiring diagram fo an ecotec omega is as follows
early models and later models the same
pin 1 is black/red to motronic unit
pin 2 is black ign positive
pin 3 is black/yellow to motronic unit

and on an xe engine with wasted spark coil
pin1 brown/red to ign coil module
pin2 black ign positive
pin3 brown/black to ign coil module.

So it looks to me like pin 2 is ign pos and the other two are trigger wires. (your using megasquirt are you not)
