nib1980 - 16/7/07 at 12:46 PM

hi all,

has anyone used these before

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Kit-car-6-Rear-Lights-westfield-locost-caterham-fury-7_W0QQitemZ290137729829QQihZ019QQcategoryZ100921QQcmdZViewItem

do the plinths fit onto the rear arches ok? or do they need shaping?

the price looks good to me.

also where is the best place to get 5 and 3/4 inch headlights in black?

many thanks

Negative feedback will be given those who give negative or neutral feedback, I will leave feedback when you have left mine, yours will be within 30 days from end of sale, if you do not like my terms do not buy I Just want buyers.

The lights look pretty good but I'm not sure about the seller's attitude!

"Negative feedback will be given those who give negative or neutral feedback, I will leave feedback when you have left mine, yours will be within 30 days from end of sale, if you do not like my terms do not buy. I Just want buyers"

99% is a pretty poor feedback rating for someone with over 5000 sales.

Edit: Beat me to it!

No bulbs either.

I asked him a question about getting some lights in a set that he did not sell and he never answered.

Just my experience

The terms and conditions might seem a little imposing, but IMHO 99% +ve feedback on over 5,000 transactions seems pretty good going to me.

wo hooo you should check out his page for a set of headlamps!

Before you start, no I do not do a smaller headlamp that you want e marked and want it for 3p

he is quite a grumpy fella.... looks like the kind of person who always wanted a proper shop but had to make-do with an e-bay shop

Do you think it could be "you know who" off here, or maybe a relative?

99% sounds like a good number, but I've seen enough people on ebay with that many sales and near enough 100% feedback that I think he must have pretty poor customer service. Remeber that means that he has 52 customers so disatisfied that they had to resort to giving him -ve feedback.

Having 99 when you've only got a feedback of a couple of hundred is ok, could just be some crossed wires, bad luck or an idiot buyer. But to keep consistently getting one negative feedback for every hundred sales seems to indicate something wrong IMO.

That said, I'd still buy from such a person, 1 in 100 is good enough odds for me

They are Landrover NAS (North american Spec) lights for defenders.

Go to Bearmach, get them with bulbs for less money......

I stuck them on mine, did not buy the plinths and the wires get really close to the tyres.

Regards Mark

I think Ray Ward used those lights on his Indy.

These are the Wipac lights for Land Rovers. Pretty good quality - no bulbs and no connectors for the rear of the light.
We @ SVC do not stock them as Wipac only make them with a deep rear connector and we have found that many "7"s do not have the space between the rear wing and tyre for these. Hence our Crystalights (inc bulbs and connectors & a foam gasket for between the lights and the housing or wing) have the right angled rear connectors.
Hope this may help
