New baby
tendoshingan - 25/1/09 at 01:50 AM

I'd just like to say that my wife had our first baby, a girl, Ceri, on Friday at 6.05 by ceasarian after complications.

Both are doing fine and I am well happy.

Ceri is 8lb 4 and tall, over a foot and half.

Also, why do women not appreciate good humour? After the op, and when the doctor was playing around with my wifes insides, I casually mentioned that my wife should ask if the doctor can do some lipo while she's there. I did not get even a glimmer of a smile. In fact I'd say she was downright rude!!

I'd repeat what she said but if I left out the swearing she didn't say a word!

hmph. she might have at least done a sort of laugh out of politeness. how rude...

congrats though

congrats you too will be on this forum at strange times like me, half five starts every morning for the last 18 months.
have a word with the wife about the attitude.

Should have gone the Locost route and got stuck in with a Hoover while the doc was threading the needle.

The bad news is she will bring this up every time you have a arguement .

Well done that man! This is probably going to cost you more than £250 though!

Cheers

she's just lost 8lbs 4 in the space of a few minutes! what more do you want

congrats on the birth of your daughter

martyn_16v - 25/1/09 at 11:51 AM

Congrats!

When my sister was getting stitched up after her (normal) birth, my brother in law asked the surgeon if he could 'bung in an extra stitch, tighten her up a bit like' Really didn't go down well

8lb 4 is twice what my first one weighed
