Anyone know where i can get rechargable batteries for my little MPman MP3 player. The manufacturer will not reply to my email requests

What sort of batteries?

My MP Man, takes 1 x AAA sized one.
My Son's MP Man takes 2 x AA.

Most of these rechargeables are available from local Electrical Stores, and Maplins including the charger.

My mp3 player is tiny and probably uses those weeny flat ish batteries. The player is screwed together with tiny screws so not sure how i'm going to get in there!!

u mean ones that are in watches? if they are those it should be easy to get in the batt case as u would have to replace them quite often!

i am surprised if its those type of batteries. i would of thought it would be a single AAA at the smallest.

have u got any pics of it?

have just had a quick look for MPman mp3 players, depending which one u have they seem to be powered by a micro batt what ever that is.

if its rechargeable u will have to send it back to them i guess as it won't be easy to get a new one as they may be specific to the model like my md player.

hope the company emails soon!

I have been trying for a couple of months but to no avail. It would probably be cheaper to buy a new MP3 player!!

probally, how long have u had it?

my sis got a 1gb mp3 player/usb stick for £30 recently, it runs on AAA i think so she got some rechargeable ones for it too.

i would get one myself but am happy enough with my MD player.

If it looks like a special rechargable battery try somewhere like Maplins or RS components.

Some types have what look like non-removable batterys that are soldered on, these are just litttle tags that just need un-soldering and replacing with a battery of the same type.

Its very unusual for you not to be able to replace as there usually similar to ones on circuit boards as momory backups etc, as there v.unlikey to have made a battery purely for that player.

likely not suitable since AA and AAA have already been mentioned, but this is one of the best internet sites I have ever found, ask for a battery and it's there next day, 1st class post.

Sad, but wonderful, the guys thing is small batteries and he is bloody good at it. Alarm remotes, ancient nintendo donkey kong, watch, laser pointer, ferret finder, there next day.
