Life's a funny thing, there was me on my way this morning to go see a VW Golf to possibly buy but something stopped me [in my head] en route so i
turned round and went home.
The wife decided it would be a good idea to take the kids to Brighton for the day so off we went. We talked about the Golf and cars in general and she
said that i should build another car she even said that we would find the money and even if it would take 5 years a car build would be a good
idea......so here we go again!
I may build and keep it or sell it post SVA and do another, right now thats so far from my mind i just don't care about it. For now i need to
decide on what to build and what engine to use. I want to use as many new parts as poss so i am either going to buy a new kit or an unfinished
project...but NO locosts, i want things to bolt on as easy as possible
I know you all think i'm toally bonkers seeing as my history is checkered to say the least but hey who gives a damn...not me! I have the garage
space, the tools, the know how (ha ha!) and a little time and money.....here we go AGAIN!
Nice to see Jasper hard at work in Brighton today (sounds dodgy!)
so you say the wife told you to go out to the garage for the next 5 years, I see
A robin hood kit? they look quite comprehensive.

Great stuff Andy
Keep starting and selling those projects - Very entertaining for us all
Cheers
Mark
ps don't keep us in suspense too long - what is it this time?
If I could afford to buy a kit I'd go for the new look Striker, so I'd have to recommend that.
...Then when you get told to sell it I'll take the part built off your hands... unfortunately part built kits are obviously not worth the amount
paid for the parts but I'm sure you can appreciate that!
What ever you decide to build, make it cec (can open, worms everywhere )
Oh dear - Yawn.
Andy, in your world, every day is groundhog day............
Next, you'll be telling us you're been considering fitting a bike engine.........
Phil

[Edited on 29/12/07 by donut]
Fury or Dax Rush Quadra (4x4) Cosworth
Out of those the Westfield may well be the best compromise between opening clean box and bolting bits on and price.

Second that on the MNR. I've gone for a comprehensive kit, chassis looks excellent and all the parts came new or already refurbed black.
Andy if I have to tell you again about quenching your V8 lust I'll go mad
V8 Fury would be nice
dribble dribble
Well if you gonna do something...do it right so V8 it is
