hi all engine buffs
I have just got my engine running (Ford 2.0 EFI dohc)
It starts easy and runs smoothly but at what seems to be max revs.
It just will not idle.
I would be glad of some help and guidance about where to start looking.
I know its not the best choice of engine but its what ive got.

Hi i had a engine do this years ago it was sucking air in past the inlet manifold and engine block
it may not be this but worth a look

A little more info may help clarify things - are you running all the standard injection stuff or something else??
