The big day tomorrow...

Going to try and fire up the panther for the first time after fitting MS tomorrow morning.

Any hints or tips?

Just got a couple more things to connect up, and some fuel lines to finish. (About an hours work...)

If I know you David it will be sweet, but as said keep an extinguisher handy. And be outside.

Nope, but sure they will by lunchtime tomorrow...

I would try to start it with the handbrake off so that if it does go pop you can push it out.

Before you start it, disconnect the ign and turn it over and make sure that you have decent oil pressure, because once it starts, if you have none, it is too late.

May be a clue in the original post that it a Megasquirt conversion ?
Keep a fire extinguisher handy just in case (for the neighbours) and keep the noise down.

Industrial sized fire extinguisher, and small one both at the ready

I can pressurise the system with my LP pump first, then turn on the main hp pump anyway. Will also have several people around playing spot the leak
