EGR tube/valve

Im about to fit the manifolds on my mx5 engine but the egr tube from the ex manifold to the inlet manifold needs modding/extending. Question is do i need it. The tube just seems to go from manifold to manifold theres no valve in between.

EGR is just there to lower your emmisions a bit, effectively its like sticking one end of a pipe up you ass and the other end in your mouth and you breath on your own farts all day long.

Not very good for performance i'm sure you will agree.

and after a while your inlet will become all bunged up with the poo that comes out your outlet...............if you know what i mean!

Its there to bleed air into the exhaust so any fumes left over keep burning.

Chop off and block the holes, not required unless you are tight on emmisions.
