megasquirt queries
Well the tuning seems to be going Ok to a point. I'd now be running into lose your licence territory If I was on a public road.
But a querie has arisen well a few actually.
When at max revs the duty cyle in megalog viewer says the cycle is 104% does this mean I need to review my required fuel and rescale the table??
Also i cannot seem to get the correct settings for the following. when I get back on the throttle at certain points it goes very lean look at the
following times to see what I mean.
look at my log file at
250.616 secs
256.444
327.175
497.318
547.876
659.754
699.098
725.760
775.169
811.981
1056.952
1064.085
1081.117
ETC there are a few others but you'll get the drift from these.
I can't decide on whether it's because there is not enough accel enrich at light throttle openings ( some oif the above readings have
accel but most do not).I'm not even sure if it could be that at the particular throttle/rpm bins that it's reading unburnt fuel and the
bins need altered (but i doubt it).
so attached are my msq and datalog for the collective squirters ( ooh err missus) on locostbuilders to analize.
Thanks in advance peeps.
If it looks wrong it probably is wrong.

Mine goes lean when you come back on the throttle too, its a downside to using bike throttle bodies. The throttle plates are very upright when closed
meaning that very small throttle openings lead to a big change in air flow. Its a pain. If you are suffering the same problem you should also be able
to see it happen with no load. Rev the car very gently from tick over, you'll prob find the mixture goes from normal to very lean then back to
normal again.
My accel thrshold is set at something like 0.3v/s seems to work ok.
You may need to re-scale your VE table to get the duty cycle down. You should aim for 90% duty cycle at WOT, injectors dont like being driven at much
over that for any length of time. My req fuel is about 12 with std GSXR injectors and again it seems to work ok. Idle values are about 8 or 9.

Flak any chance of a screen dump of your accel wizard page??
Are you running a v3 board?
Will the v2.2 settings in megatune be different??
If it looks wrong it probably is wrong.

I have attached a copy of my MSQ as thats probably easier, you can have a look at whatever you like then
I am using HR code but it should open ok.
If you aren't using HR code, it would be worth upgrading unless you need PWM injector control, which you shouldnt....I noticed a big improvement
in smoothness and economy when I changed.
