m2 pip, saw..part 2
thanks for the last bits of info.this is where im at now. I put a scope on my pip and saw wires and as said my pip signal is ok as it runs but the saw
signal does'nt look correct to me so i went to the ms connector and its the same there.
If i run m's and watch the advance gauge it rises and falls as its rev'd,the timing table is on the correct rpm value but its on the top
box (100%) and only moves up and down that row the same in the ignition map view its right at the top end of the map(ie far left corner )and only
moves up and down the far end boxes.
So what have i got wrong,is it the vr pots inside my ms ?i cant see its the flywheel or sensor as they are zetec ones and only go in one place all be
it a 1.8 flywheel on a 2.0. im getin really fed up with it to the point i wished i gone a diffrent route
im in my own little world...its ok though they know me there

First thing I would check is the TPS values - it should be around 20 at closed throttle , and something over 200 on full throttle .
Its cuz I is blond , innit

What do you have sensing engine load, e.g. MAP sensor or throttle position sensor? It sounds like whatever you are using isn't working if the
table is staying on one load row.
Does top row in your map have different advance figures for different engine speeds? Does the SAW change with engine speeds?

using tps in alpha n.The tps im sure is correct as the gauge for it says so and the ve table reads ok and moves around when its rev'd
