Which Filter for EFI?
Howdy folks, EFI conversion coming on nicely, just ordered my MS from Phil @ Extraefi
Only thing I need now is a fuel filter..
I have a natty little filter with quick disconnect ends off some kind of Opel. I suspect its off a Corsa as I needed a new tank for my TDi and I got a
one off a petrol car in the scrappy.
Anyone recommend a filter for after the pump I can just go and buy from a motor factor/Halfrauds?? 8mm push on ends??

Steve

Hi Steve,
I know of some people who are using a Ford Focus 2.0i fuel filter. Its 8mm push on ends and is Halfords part No. HFF253.

DONT use the plastic ones. Get an Ali one with replaceable strainer. I put a plastic one in (like a muppet) and when it clogged slightly, the 3 bar
pressure popped it like a little baloon. Fuel all over the engine, exhaust, road etc etc.
Kindest Regards,
Richard.

I use a steel bodied filter from a Ford. No problems.
PS If you haven't done already, put a cheapy plastic filter before the main pressure pump as it is common on new installations for the pump to
sieze up with debris in a new tank.
