Engine cutting out.
my engine appears to cut out when I touch the throttle, seems to be an issue with the TPS, as it runs fine if i unplug the TPS.
using omex 500
Ideas?
cheers

Could even be something as simple as a worn-out TPS.... The wiper tracks get worn it the wiper is at one particular position for a long period of
time...

I did wonder about that, the tps seems to work in a reasonably linear way, though one of the doodahs seems to start at 1.something k ohm, rather than
0
Edit apparently the forum doesn't like symbols, how annoying.

Have you tried recalibrating it through the ECU the settinggs can changes if the tps has been moves. Worth a try before bying a new one

Yep, tried that, set it up as per the manual and no change, TPS does appear to be working though, no dead spots in the ECU.
I'm thinking/hoping it's possibly a wiring oddity somewhere, but the battery died before I got chance to test stuff.

More playing, still idles fine, stalls when I hit the noisy pedal even if the TPS is unplugged.

Hmm, Seems like it's getting starved of fuel, no idea why.
