MS injector wiring info needed.

Hi all,
I need the help of the house again.

I am wiring up my megasquirt and only have the injectors and tps
left to connect. My injector wiring plugs are the original ford jobbies
and are connected in series with a green wire, the other side of the plug has a black wire with a trace.
Am i correct in thinking that the green wire should be connected to the 5A switched live from the relay
and the black wires are the signal from the ecu??

As always, any help is greatly appreciated.

Andy.

Connect all the green wires to the fuel pump relay pin 87 so the injectors come live only when the pump runs. Connect the black wires in pairs, 1&4 to INJ channel 1 or INJ1 of the MS, 2&3 to INJ channel 2 or INJ2.

The injectors should have a fused +12v supply, the leads from the MS are switched earths.

Regards,
Dave

Hi Andy, dont go by the wire colours on the injector plugs. If you are using the standard white or black zetec injectors the positive terminal is marked on the outside of the injector (+). This is the one that goes to the switched live via a fuse. The other terminal goes to the MS.

Injectors 1 and 4 should be wired in parallel and connected to INJ1 on MS
Injectors 2 and 3 should be wired in parallel and connected to INJ2 on MS

Cheers Dale.
