Land rover fuel pump and duratec
I'm decided to try the in tank fuel pump for the duratec. I think it's simple and neat and I have a fuel tank to play with.
I read about the Land Rover fuel pump:
Land Rover Range Rover & Discovery Electric Fuel Pump | eBay
The thing is, if this pump is used with the 4.0L v8 it should work with the duratec with TBS (I plan to up the pressure to 3.5bar), but will this
cheap pump really works? This replacemente is $30 and oem Delphi pumps seems to cost from 5 to 10 times as much.
Anybody with experience with this cheap replacements, can I replace the pump inside the bucket easily?
Does anybody have a picture from below to see if I have to modify the floor of the tank?
Thank you very much!

I ran my 4.6 RV8 with a V12 XJS pump, patterned ones are on Ebay for around £30, these are standalone and have worked perfectly for me

Isn't this pump external?
I'm looking at internal units complete with bucket.
Thanks.
