megasquirt case

Morning all......while I was looking on the net the other evening I wondered if there where any different case's to fit the megasquirt and came across a great looking item, so if you google "megasquirt case " top row left hand side is a very well made case in black with gold lettering, anyone know who does these ?................

It is very nice, but i suspect it might be a one off...

The black case is the same as mine, but the gold bits have been etched in

If I were to use a different case then I would focus on function.
I guess it depends a bit on how visible you are going to make it.

Probably aim for something that was more waterproof and used more resilient connectors than the db37 and db9.
More like the MicroSquirt. But it would add cost and probably little actual benefit.

I totally agree., the 25 way D connector is really not suited to automotive use. Lot of people have transplanted the guts of the megasquirt into the old Bosch Jetronic ECU cases, usually to make a plug and play replacement, but it wouldn't be hard to get the loom and plug from a scrap car.

Seem to recall someone on megasquirt@yahoogroups.com got sets of etched end plates made up a few years back.
The group still (barely) exists. You could ask or try on MSEFI.com
