Griffin (style) plenum

Hi all,

I am just in the process of fitting a 2L Zetec silvertop into my Locost. I am having a problem fitting the inlet plenum as the 2 small pipes coming from the bottom of the chamber are hitting a chassis rail. Can anyone tell me what these two pipes are for, can I just cut them off and block the holes or move them so they don't foul the chassis rail. Thanks Nigel

Ron said it would cost 250 quid. My wife thinks it did.

I've been trying for the last 20 mins to upload that photo. Thanks. The 2 pipes pointing up are the ones I mean, on my plenum they point down.

They use one for the fuel rail regulator and one if needed for a brake servo.

Either cut them short and tap them to m6 and fit a bolt with some sealant or cut them short and plug weld it.

I did have some pic's but cant find them. The plenum above, the ports are pointing down. The inlet is on the other end for fwd setup.

I modify them a little as I hate the nasty bleed screw idea.
