Throttle pot adjustment

I have purchased a generic BMW throttle pot to replace my old one on my Jenvey throttle bodies. The new one is about 90 degrees out on the D shaft that is the end of the spindle. Is there a way of adjusting the hole. It looks like it will unclip but I am not sure if I take it apart that it will fly into pieces.
Any suggestions?
Regards, Jon

Throttle pot

I think that I have solved my own problem. I assume that the connectors face up rather than down, It fits when facing up!

well done for fixing it :-)
and even better that you share the solution. we all (hopefully) learn by our mistakes, and those of others too.
