Ordering Megasquirt

Can anybody tell me Exactly what I need to order and recommend who from? I am building a Pinto with bike throttle bodies. I have a zetec coil pack ready and would prefer the simplest/best setup I can from the outset? (does that mean no EDIS?)

OK - I know you'll say I should read through the various sites but.......

I want to get everything I need ordered ASAP, then i can start reading through all the mind numbing stuff on the sites.

besides - I have a friendly Avionic engineer who will be roped into building the thing!

Ok, i'll start.

I suggest you use Megasquirt 1 with the Extra-code.

you need this (if you buy from DIY autotune)
MS 1 (v3.0) kit
Extra vb921 kit
Stimulator

that should do it.
Then you probably need some connectors sensors etc. the types are depending on what type of throttle bodies, injectors etc.

If you buy from the States, you WILL get VAT / import Duty on it. I did, Probably was Just Vat, but worth remembering when ordering from the USA. Had to Pay the post office, and an extra £1 for them collecting the Vat

Its anything over £18 gets VAT. And No they wont reduce the declaration of the costs either.
I've tried that!
At the end of the day, it is slightly cheaper than buying in the UK. Unless you can avoid the Vat, then its a fair bit cheaper

Also think of Posting times and security with Xmas looming very shortly. ie do it trackable and insured.
Just my 2d worth.

EDIT:
PS took about 9 days to get here from the USA. That was 3 weeks ago.
