Relay board wiring for wasted spark

Hi,

I am using a relay board with my MSnSE and intend to use a wasted spark ignition. I have a few questions:

What outlets do I use for the coils?

On the injectors does it matter what side I put the +12V supply from the JP2 terminal block and what side I put the signals from the first four outlets on the JP1 terminal block?

Where can I get the fuses from for the relay board?

Thanks

Hi Dan,

I never did get an answer and I am now looking at the post realising that I have been procrestinating, big time, this year.

I sort of worked out what outlets from the relay board I needed to put to the coil but I don't think I knew which bank of the coil connected to which terminal of the relay board, I just connected it and thought I'll solve that problem when I get to it. I bought a load of the fuses from the local car spares shop.

The thing that has disturbed me about this post is that I have done almost nothing this year because I am a little confused about the setting up of the ecu. I even put a post on the site a few months ago looking for help but knew all the while that I need to just sit down and get on with it. Worst still, I have my next project lined up waiting for me to get on with it (an old Austin Healey 100).

Must try harder, must try harder, must try harder....

Hi there,
start by selling the relay board, its a complete waste of time and is not needed. Which wires t ouse for the spark outs will depend on where you conencted the 2 VB921 drivers to, one will probably be on pin36 if your using a V3.0 PCB and the other should be on pin 6 if you followed my manuals, but that will depend on where you connected it.
As for injectors, they are not polarised so 12V to any side is fine, but keep them all the same so fault finding is easier. Ensure you check wether you ahve lo or hi impedance injectors before going too far,
Phil
