LC1 error
I've had an LC1 installed and working fine for about three months.
It starting to give strange results at the wekend and I investigated it.
Seems that it was reading the AFR at between 55-60 which as the engine was running as sweet as a nut at idle at the time seemed to be incorrect.
I remove the lamda sensor and recalibrated as per manual.
All seems to go well until after the free air cailibration.
The LED should light steady and continuously but just flashes eight times.
Is my lamda sensor dead?

According to the LC1 Appendix C: 8 flashes indicates... "Sensor timing error, (typically a damaged sensor)" Likely root cause1/ Sensor
overheating. 2/ Sensor is damaged. Fix= 1/ (a) perform sensor heater recalibration. (b) move sensor further down the pipe. (c) add a heat sink at the
bung. 2/ Replace sensor. Reading all that, I would guess your probably correct and the sensor is Kcufed. Regards, Ray

its
how did you choose your sensor position?
maybe it has overheated and it went out..
the ideal place is one where you always need a bit of heater to have a good result..

Has your car been filled with rubbish fuel?
