zetec coolant temp sensor

using megasquirt and easytherm to calibrate zetec temp sensor, should i be using the top sensor or the bottom sensor on the thermostat housing for the connection to the megasquirt,

top. bottom one is for the gauge.

Top sensor, round plug = ECU.
Bottom sensor, mini timer plug = gauge.
